Space-saving design
With its ultra-compact space saving upright design, the X-Modem CE leaves your desk free of clutter. By optimising the layout of the logic board and turning the X-modem on its end we managed to cram everything in to a box measuring just (H)130x(D)110x(W)25mm. The X-Modem CE's small, sleek, white modern design looks great on any desktop.

Intelligent as well as good looks
The X-Modem CE doesn't just look good, it is also performs beautifully. A self contained intelligent modem that contains its own high performance RISC processor that maintains an always-on high speed connection. The result is that the modem does not use any of the host computers valuable resources, leaving your computer free to do more important things.

Flexible connectivity simplifies Internet access
The X-modem includes built-in Ethernet connectivity, eliminating the need for specialist drivers, allowing the modem to be connected to an Ethernet equipped computer for instant use. As drivers are not required for Ethernet connectivity, the X-modem can be used with a wide range of systems such as Linux, Unix, MacOS X. As well as computers the X-modem can be connected to games consoles such as the Microsoft X-Box.

Compatible with all ISP's
The X-Modem offers complete peace of mind as it offers full compatibility with all Internet service providers. As well as the main providers the X-modem is fully compatible with Kingston Communications and LLU operators.

Go wireless
Because the X-Modem is a self contained Ethernet modem that does not require a computer to connect, it can be used with a range of Broadband Routers, Internet gateways, Wireless gateways and Firewall Appliances equipped with Ethernet WAN interfaces.

Easy installation
Quick and Easy Setup – The X-modem comes pre-configured to work with UK ADSL standards. Web browser based configuration makes it easy to set-up the X-modem on any computer that has a web browser. The Quick & Easy installer will guide you through the configuration. The X-modem is an external device, making installation very simple and straightforward without the need to open up your computer.
