For people who need to install a number of IDC connections this tool is a must as the plastic disposable type is only suitable for small installations.
This tool inserts and trims the wire simultaneously in to IDC terminals as found on telephone equipment such as our NTE-2005. Simply place the wire in the terminal blades, and press down, the tool has a metal insertion blade that will insert the wire and a small cutting blade also trims the excess wire off.
Also includes fold-out hook and blade tools in the handle.
