Postal strike ends after 17 days
The unofficial postal strike in Oxford has finally ended after workers voted to return to work.
Royal Mail staff had gone on strike on 30 March. During the strike about five million items of post remained undelivered because of the walkout at the centre in Cowley and two delivery offices. Any orders stuck in the sorting office should now be deliverd as the backlog is cleard.
